Oh kindest people!...for several weeks or a month now, since reading about it in the 'Yoga Vashishtha'...where I eventually decided that I should want to share this technique with you...waiting for the chance to have some time to do so...and wanting to get back to that paragraph out of the 'Yoga Vashishtha' that spoke of it...
a few days back, I was backtracking from my daily reading of it, (I read a half a page a day, from cover to cover and then start over again, over and over)...looking for that paragraph ...I flipped the pages and quickly glanced at each paragraph as far back as I could surmise was where I had read...but could not find it...so I resigned to the fact that I would have to wait till I came upon it again at the next cycle...which would have been about a year, I guess
this afternoon, as I was doing my daily readings, I opened the 'Yoga Vashishtha' to read my daily half page...and the postcard (that I use to keep track of the page I am on) was right at that paragraph!
I asked myself..."is it another paragraph of the same subject?...
or
did I accidentally misplace the postcard and it landed right at that paragraph? ...(I looked at the previous paragraphs and recall them to be the ones that I had read the days before) so that wasn't it
or!...
is it just some more of this unusual stuff that keeps happening to me with 'God's Algorithm'?
thank You, God! I guess God wants you to know it too!
anyway, the reason that I want to share this technique with you is that it is so good... I actually had been given this technique from my new friend, Jonathan Cohen, my acupuncturist, whom I go to visit every chance I get for a treatment...he is also a Qi Gong teacher and he taught me two stances of which this technique is a part of...and which I experienced awesome mojo using the technique... I have added this technique to my meditations as well and it has deepened my meditation mojo even more....
and so, a few months later, when I came across it in the 'Yoga Vashishtha' I exclaimed "I'll be darned!"
here it is...by the grace of God...
Yoga Vashishtha...page 239...
"again, if by steady and persistent practice, the tip of the tongue can touch the uvula (upper palate...my insertion)(also, there is certain and definite pleasure in placing the tip of the tongue against the vulva,,,but that is a whole other webpage! :) ... the movement of the prana will be restricted. Surely, all these practices appear to be distractions; but by their steady practice, one reaches the absence of distractions. It is only by by such steady practice that one is freed from sorrow, and experiences the bliss of the self. When, through practice, the movement of prana is restrained, then nirvana or liberation alone remains. In it is all; from it is all; it is everywhere. In it this world appearance is not, nor is this from it, nor is the world appearance like it! He who is firmly established in it is liberated while living."
so!...enjoy...oh kindest people!
