1983 was the year that congress voted to start spending our social security dollars with lobbyists

Reagan broke the backs of the union and our middle class

lobbyists are highly paid for a reason

'we the people' have no lobbyists

'we the people' rely on our representatives to look out for our interests and the lobbyists buy them off

the proof is in the pudding...look at the mess we are in....it's all DC's fault

Bush is an oil man...oil companies are raking in record profits...see the connection? do you understand now, why Bush raised so much money back in 1999? Bush, a man of his word, paid them back with interest and then some.

what a fucking mess!

do you know that wars are a very profitable enterprise?

did you know that back in the day, lobbyists were convincing DC to go to war with Mexico for the oil, until the Teapot Dome Scandal ended it? did you know how close we came?

now that we spent all our money and mortgaged our children's and grandkid's future with the current wars...all in the name of freedom...we have nothing left to defend our freedom with...start learning Mandarin...oh kindest people!...I hope you like Chinese food I should have become a lobbyist...darn!...what a profitable career that would have been.

imagine being at home, enjoying a brewskie, when you suddenly hear the sound of heavy equipment and you go out to see them poised to tear your house down...someone comes to you and says that you need to leave their land...their "holy" book says that it was their land 3000 years ago

I can't believe that Truman could be so calloused, back in 1948, as to have caused this to happen...

I can't believe it!

humanity suffered the Holocaust but did not go after the vatican for causing it...instead...doing some political grandstanding and forming Israel...and kicking the Palestinians in the gonads in the process

there is no justice...only stupidity...lots of stupidity

and now Israel has 200 nukes...wmd...are we going to go after them for it? like we did Saddam? I don't think so...but we will go after Iran for thinking about it...oh! I can't stand the theocracy there either...the fact that they issued a fatwah back in the eighties for "the satanic verses" by S. Rushdie...

that's reason enough for me to not protest the coming war with Iran....but we have no more money to wage war...and Iran knows it...and they are laughing ...I think we are going to end up using nukes with this one...and I am not thrilled at that prospect
